For better results, combine adjacent text boxes with similar paragraph formatting. Character formatting inside the text boxes is preserved. When combining text boxes with different paragraph styles, you may need to manually restore the original text layout.

When consolidating lists, the list's layout may be affected by the position of the punctuation. In this case, you will need to manually restore the layout. For example, when using the numbering of style "1.", the resulting list items may be split after the dot.

The function inspects the text fragments to see if they end in sentence-ending punctuation. If not, then the next text box's content is appended to it instead of starting a new paragraph. You must manually fix paragraphing, and set paragraph properties after consolidation.
